Reviews of Escape From Pompeii

Over the last few months, we've had a few copies of Escape From Pompeii out in the wild and so far the reviews have been incredibly positive. Here are some of the highlights:

A quote on a scroll reading 'I really loved the round tracking mechanic in this. Each turn you flip an outside tile that could change the gameplay for the other player the next turn, it also allows you to manipulate the board!'
A quote on a scroll reading 'it feels very thematic and really immerses you in what life was like'
A quote on a scroll reading 'I felt like I learnt so much, without it feeling like a history lesson - and I enjoyed the timer aspect, making it a race to escape'
A quote on a scroll reading 'the art is great, the trivia cards aren't too taxing for an 8+ audience and it's a very good step up from simpler games. There's also variant rules which add subtle but significant changes to a playthrough'
A quote on a scroll reading 'we appreciate the game's historical accuracy, beautiful theme, and simple gameplay. It's a great gateway game!'
A quote on a scroll reading 'the theme is solid throughout, from the artwork down to the trivia questions and events. This is a great educational game and I imagine it would go down well during family game nights!'
A quote on a scroll reading 'we played the game at home, at our home education board games group, and with school friends. Everyone has loved playing it'
